Jessie Pepper is the Director of Operations of the Jewish Learning Center of New York. She works closely with Rabbi Kalb in the daily administration and logistics of the organization. Jessie worked at 92nd Street Y from 2007-2015. She was the Director of Administration of the Bronfman Center for Jewish Life. Jessie is a graduate of The Jewish Experiential Leadership Institute (JELI), a prestigious 15 month program of Leadership through a Jewish Lens. The Jewish Experiential Leadership Institute is a leadership program specifically designed for JCC professionals. Fellows learn to apply Jewish frameworks to setting vision, day-to-day management, and developing their own leadership identity. JCC Association partners with the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education of The Jewish Theological Seminary for this exciting fellowship, with generous support provided by the Jim Joseph Foundation. Before working at 92Y, Jessie was a production manager and associate producer at the award winning documentary film company, Public Policy Productions. Jessie has been an active participant in the annual National Multiple Sclerosis Society walk for over fourteen years, in order to raise money to support research and programming for those living with Multiple Sclerosis. She grew up in Northern New Jersey and graduated Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College, with a BA in communications.
